Dear Students,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you in Yuvashakti Arts and Science College Amravati; on behalf of Yuvashakti Samajik and Shaikshanik Santha, Amravati. Our institute has maintained its glorious tradition of enlightening youth by providing them quality education and set an ideal in the field of education in the Vidarbha region. India has been identified as the country of Youth in the world. We have power of young people as our human resource and hence our institution is making continuous effort to channelize this energy in constructive works for the society. Vidarbha region is known for the educational, social and spiritual contribution made by saints and great personalities like Sant Gadge Baba, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj, Sant Gulabrao Maharaj. These people enlightened us by simplifying spiritual concept in a layman’s language. An eminent educationist Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh established Shri Shivaji Education Society in Amravati to disseminate education for common people. Keeping this ideal, our institution was established in the year 2000 with the blessings of Goddess Amba, a local deity, to provide quality education to students from urban, semi urban and rural areas.

Secondly, it was the need of time to have many higher education institutes to cater the demand of students, therefore to provide opportunity to needy students this institute was started. Now, thousands of students from our institution have completed their degrees and made their marks in various fields. Along with education, our institute also undertakes various programmes and activities frequently under National Service Scheme (NSS). A seven day residential camp ‘Shram Sanskar Shibir’ is also conducted every year in the nearby villages. Through this camp various projects and programmes are undertaken for the development and awareness among the villagers as well as the students.
