National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)


The motto of NSS “Not me But you” reflects the essence of democratic living and uphold the need for self less service. NSS help the student develop appreciation to other person’s point of view and also show consideration to other living beings.

The Objectives of National Service Scheme (NSS) are as follows:

  • Understand the community in which they work.
  • Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem solving.
  • Utilize their knowledge in finding practice solutions to individual and community problems.
  • Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes.
  • Practice national integration and social harmony.


    • The NSS unit of the College :

    The College has a unit of 100 Student- Volunteers. Every year 50 Volunteers- students participated a seven day residential camp, which is organized in nearby adopted village. Various developmental and community- related social activities are undertaken in the camp.
